The Reno Gem & Mineral Society is a nonprofit corporation organized for the purpose of creating, developing, and encouraging interest in the rock, gem, and mineral hobbies as well as locating and identifying various material through field trips.

We host three public events each year. For 2012, those events and dates are:

**Spring Craft Fair: March 30, 31 & April 1 at Reno Town Mall.

Meetings are held the first Wednesday of each month at 7:00 p.m., and the board meetings are held every second Wednesday of the month at 7 p.m. Annual dues are $22 for a single membership or $33 for 2+ (family membership) Those interested in name tags can purchase them at $5.00 each. Application for membership in the club is done at a general membership meeting.
